Mission Statement Beauregard Elementary

 

The Mission Statement for Beauregard Elementary is to establish a school with a positive learning environment which will enhance and foster the educational, emotional and social growth of all children.  We seek to provide the groundwork for a lifetime of learning for our students.  Students are encouraged to be productive, responsible and caring citizens that will strive to better themselves, their homes, their community and the world.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to stimulate each student to reach his or her highest level of competency in order to become a lifelong learner and responsible citizen.

Beliefs

  1. Every student can learn, achieve, and succeed.
  2. Student learning is the chief priority of our school.
  3. A safe and physically comfortable environment promotes student learning.
  4. Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs and strengths.
  5. We strive to prepare students to become competent, self-directed, life-long learners.
  6. The commitment to continuous improvement is vital to our school's success
  7. Educating the child is the responsibility of the entire community.
  8. Students learn best when they are actively engaged in a variety of problem solving activities and meaningful learning experiences which promote cooperation and decision making.
  9. Self-esteem is an important component of success.
  10. Varied assessments of student learning should provide students opportunities to demonstrate and apply their mastery of knowledge.
  11. We strive to prepare students to successfully compete in the technological society of the future.
  12. All students should have the opportunity to participate in the activities related to the arts.
