  • Student learning is the chief priority of our school.
  • A safe and physically comfortable environment promotes student learning.
  • Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs and strengths.
  • We strive to prepare students to become competent, self-directed, life-long learners.
  • The commitment to continuous improvement is vital to our school's success
  • Educating the child is the responsibility of the entire community.
  • Students learn best when they are actively engaged in a variety of problem solving activities and meaningful learning experiences which promote cooperation and decision making.
  • Self-esteem is an important component of success.
  • Varied assessments of student learning should provide students opportunities to demonstrate and apply their mastery of knowledge.
  • We strive to prepare students to successfully compete in the technological society of the future.
  • All students should have the opportunity to participate in the activities related to the arts.

Welcome from Our Principal
It is my honor to serve as principal of Beauregard Elementary, a place where students are loved, challenged, and inspired every day. Our dedicated teachers and staff work collaboratively to ensure each child receives a strong academic foundation while also developing confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.

At Beauregard Elementary, we believe in educating the whole child. Through engaging instruction, positive relationships, and a supportive school culture, we partner with families to help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We are proud of our traditions, committed to continuous improvement, and focused on preparing every student for success—both in school and in life.

Thank you for being a part of our school community. We look forward to a wonderful year of learning and growth together.

School Profile

School Environment
At Beauregard Elementary School we pride ourselves in exceptional service and in providing a quality education that is also the hallmark of our incredible school. Children are able to "shine" and be recognized positively within our TEAM. The hallways and classrooms display samples of their work while adults and children alike greet each other warmly. Our TEAM of almost 800 children has a very diverse background both ethnically and socio-economically. Children offer their peers help and enjoy getting praise from their teachers and administrators. Parents and the community enjoy tutoring and coordinating other exciting activities for all to delight in. All events support the theme that at BES we are a TEAM and that Together Everyone Achieves More.  The Beauregard Elementary TEAM enjoys time together learning and having fun.

Community

Beauregard Elementary School is a jewel tucked away in the lush cotton fields of East Alabama. Our learning and nurturing facility is located near the charming university town of Auburn and nestled in Opelika, an eclectic and diverse southern town. In the early 1950's the community of Beauregard began its rapid growth. The large increase in population was mainly due to the proximity of industrial and manufacturing plants. Several large farms were sold and new homes and lots for trailers were developed. Ground was broken for our newest school on Lee County Road 300 in 2001 and is just a short distance from our old campus that we shared with Beauregard High School. In Beauregard we are able to discover and experience the genteel and small town traditions and still participate in progressive innovations and developments that our neighboring cities offer while still continuing to acknowledge all areas of focus and learning at the heart of Lee County Schools.
